Tukio has rolled out a redesigned website with a Booking Wizard, destination guides, popular itineraries, Tukio Travel Club, and a Partners Page.
Safari planning platform Tukio says it has launched a redesigned website to make it easier for travelers to discover, plan, and book safaris online.
The headline feature is a new Booking Wizard. A booking wizard is a guided, step-by-step flow, like a checkout assistant that asks questions in order and builds your trip as you go. Tukio says users can select destinations, choose accommodation and activities, set travel preferences, and then complete a booking directly online.
The redesigned site also adds destination guides. These are research pages that bundle practical trip information, local context, and travel tips for specific safari locations, so users can compare options before building an itinerary.
Another update is “Popular Itineraries,” which are curated, pre-made safari routes that users can edit. The idea is to start with a template and then tweak dates, stops, and activities instead of planning from scratch.
Tukio also revamped its blog into “Tukio Travel Club,” positioning it as a content hub for safari advice, destination stories, and wildlife and conservation context. Finally, the new Partners Page is aimed at travel agencies and tour operators that want to work with Tukio.
African travel and safari bookings often involve long back-and-forth on WhatsApp, email, or agent calls. Putting destination content, itinerary building, and booking into one guided flow can reduce friction for customers and help operators standardise what information they collect before confirming a trip.
For travel agents, a dedicated partners page signals that Tukio is also building a supply-side network, not just a consumer website. If Tukio can combine templates, transparent options, and direct online booking, it could shorten the time from inspiration to payment, and improve conversion for safari products across multiple destinations.
