The Morocco Accelerator launched its third cohort, selecting 20 startups from 262 applications for an intensive program run with Technopark Morocco and Plug and Play.
The Morocco Accelerator has launched its third cohort to support 20 startups.
The programme is financed by the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence, Digital Transformation and Administration Reform.
The Morocco Accelerator said it is starting a third cohort designed to help startups grow nationally and pursue international ambitions.
The programme is deployed by Technopark Morocco, in partnership with Plug and Play, within the Maroc Digital 2030 strategy. The ministry said the goal is to structure startup development, improve access to market, and connect founders to national and international innovation and investment networks.
The cohort was selected from 262 applications. The process included 91 interviews, a preselection of 25 startups, and a final selection of 20.
The selected startups are Aithenor, Arkypel, Arqam360, Colis.ma, Imperius AI, Jafar AI, Jobzyn, Kiwi, Legal IQ, Match Excellence, Mycel, Nyance, Palete, Projected, PULSO, remitX, TIMLEAD, TRAVELIFE, YBA.ai, and ZARI.
The ministry said these startups cover nine technology areas: enterprise solutions and artificial intelligence, fintech, human resources technologies, cybersecurity, digital tourism, insurtech, legaltech, retailtech, and proptech. It also said enterprise solutions and AI account for nine startups, or 45% of the selection. Fintech includes three startups, and HR technologies include two.
The ministry added that five startups, a quarter of the cohort, are led by diaspora founders.
The programme says participating startups will receive intensive support, including mentoring, introductions to investors and partner companies, and access to Plug and Play’s international network.
The ministry said the aim is to help startups set clearer commercial priorities and prepare for discussions with future partners and investors, including for international business development.
