Mwl said it has established a presence in Madinah by launching a dedicated shuttle network for the pilgrimage transport segment.

The shuttle runs around the clock and focuses on hotel-to-landmark trips. It is designed for visitors who need predictable, repeatable routes during busy periods.

Swvl will use its platform to plan fixed routes, meaning vehicles follow set stops and schedules like a hotel loop bus. It will also use real-time dispatching, which is software that assigns vehicles based on live conditions like demand and location. The company added that it will apply operational optimization, which is data-driven tuning of routes, staffing, and vehicle usage to reduce delays and empty trips.

The update was disclosed in a Form 6-K filing and a related press release dated September 22, 2026.
