Stake signs a content partnership with EdgeLabs to add 50+ casino-style games, plus multilingual tools and promotions across key markets.
Stake has signed a new content partnership with EdgeLabs to expand its online casino catalogue. Stake said the agreement will bring more than 50 games from the EdgeLabs portfolio onto its platform.
The titles listed include slots like Blue Bird Bonus, Diamond 10x, and Mark of Z. It also includes casino-style games such as Emily’s Treasure and Kandy Land Keno.
“Content partnership” here means Stake is licensing third-party games to distribute them to its users. For operators, this is a way to refresh the lobby, test what performs in different regions, and keep players engaged without building every game in-house.
EdgeLabs says its games support 35 languages and 95 currencies. That matters because localisation, meaning language and payment preferences, can impact conversion and retention in iGaming.
Stake also highlighted its sweepstakes casino model in some markets. A sweepstakes product is a free-to-play format that uses promotions and virtual coins, often designed to fit local rules where real-money online casino is restricted.
For African markets, the takeaway is indirect but clear. Global operators are competing on distribution, localisation, and promotional tooling, which can raise the bar for regional platforms on content depth and player engagement.
