SmallSmall has rolled out a rebuilt version of its mobile app.
The update focuses on speed, a refreshed interface, and a new “My Hub” dashboard for tracking rent and gadget orders.
SmallSmall says it has completed a full rebuild of its app to improve performance and user experience. A rebuild means the company rewrote major parts of the app, instead of only shipping small patches.
In a short product update, the company highlighted faster browsing, fewer lags, and bug fixes. It also teased a more colourful, cleaner interface aimed at making navigation feel more intuitive.
A key feature in the update is “My Hub”, a central dashboard where users can view activity in one place. SmallSmall positions it as a command centre to track rent and gadget orders without switching between multiple screens or hunting for receipts.
The company is encouraging users to update or download the app via the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
For consumer apps in property and lifestyle services, speed and clarity often matter as much as adding new features. A faster app can reduce drop offs during search, checkout, and payment flows.
The My Hub dashboard is also a push toward “single pane of glass” (one screen that shows everything important). If it works well, it can help users manage ongoing commitments like rent and instalment-like gadget purchases, and it gives SmallSmall more opportunities to keep users coming back.
On a crowded Nigerian proptech and rentals market, product quality can become a differentiator. A complete rebuild is also a sign the company is investing in long term maintenance, not just short term updates.
