Salus Cloud has updated its positioning around a “governed lane” for AI-built apps. The pitch is simple, teams can ship AI-generated code to production-like environments without losing IT control.
Salus Cloud says it runs “real apps” built by any team, using any framework or AI agent, inside a company’s own cloud account and chosen region. That means workloads can run on AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, private cloud, or Salus-managed hardware, while the company keeps control of its code and data.
On its site, Salus frames the problem as a collision between widespread AI-assisted building and enterprise security rules. Non-engineering teams are increasingly creating internal tools with assistants like Claude, Cursor, and Replit. These tools can produce full application code, not just simple automation.
Salus is positioning its platform as the approved path for those apps to be deployed.
