Quidax will delist CAKE, BONK, FARTCOIN, and FLOKI on August 19, 2026. Trading and deposits will stop after 5pm GMT+1, withdrawals stay open.
Quidax will delist PancakeSwap (CAKE), Bonk (BONK), Fartcoin (FARTCOIN), and Floki (FLOKI) on August 19, 2026.
Nigerian crypto exchange Quidax said it will remove four tokens from its platform on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, by 5pm (GMT+1).
After the deadline, Quidax will turn off trading and swaps for CAKE, BONK, FARTCOIN, and FLOKI. It will also disable incoming deposits, meaning users should stop sending these tokens to their Quidax wallet addresses once delisting takes effect.
Withdrawals will remain open after the deadline. That means users can move the affected assets to an external wallet or another exchange that still supports them.
Quidax also reminded users that it does not support withdrawals for every cryptocurrency on its platform. Some assets are “trade-only,” which means users can buy or sell them, but cannot withdraw them off-platform.
For users holding the affected tokens, Quidax outlined two options before the deadline. They can sell or convert the tokens into local currencies like Naira, Cedis, or Central African CFA franc. Or they can swap into other crypto assets such as USDT or Bitcoin.
Coin delistings change liquidity, which is how easily you can buy or sell an asset without moving the price too much. Once trading is turned off, users who miss the deadline may lose the simplest way to exit a position on that exchange.
This is also an operational reminder for African crypto users who rely on exchanges as default storage. If deposits are disabled, any tokens sent after the cutoff may not show up, and recovery is not always possible.
For Quidax, the move signals ongoing asset reviews to keep the exchange’s markets manageable and to focus support on tokens that meet its internal listing standards.
