NoOnes Blocks US Visitors with Restricted Jurisdiction Notice

NoOnes now shows a restricted-jurisdiction notice for US IPs and says it does not offer services in the United States, alongside updated country listings.

In Short

  • NoOnes is now blocking access from the United States with a “restricted jurisdiction” notice.
  • The site says it does not offer services to users connecting from US IP addresses.
  • NoOnes also updated its supported-countries listing.

What Happened

NoOnes, a crypto marketplace and wallet provider, now displays a restricted-jurisdiction notice to visitors connecting from the United States. The message says the user’s IP address is located in the US and that NoOnes does not offer services in that region.

On the homepage, the notice appears before product pages load. That suggests NoOnes is applying geofencing, which is a location-based block that uses IP addresses to decide who can access a site.

The page also links to a help article about blocked countries and to the company’s help center. In the same area, NoOnes lists products such as direct crypto buys, cash out, swaps, an OTC desk, and a wallet. OTC means “over the counter,” which is a way to trade directly with a desk instead of using a public order book.

NoOnes’ supported-countries list also appears to have been updated. The list includes many countries, including several in Africa, and shows a “+185 more” link to the broader directory.

Why It Matters

For African crypto platforms, US access is a high-compliance area. US rules can trigger extra licensing and reporting obligations, especially for products that look like money transmission, crypto brokerage, or swaps.

A clear US block can reduce regulatory risk and operational overhead. It can also affect African startups and teams that rely on US-based staff, diaspora users, or US cloud and testing traffic, because routine browsing may get blocked.

For users, the change is a reminder to confirm jurisdiction and availability before moving funds. It is also a signal to watch for further updates to NoOnes’ country coverage and product availability across markets.

On Liners, you can track similar crypto and exchange tools like Noones alongside other players in Africa’s crypto and payments space.
