Individuals find the right products. Businesses reach the right audience. One platform, free for both.
LemFi has launched a new global brand, rebuilt its app, and added UK savings and credit plus eSIMs in more than 100 destinations.
LemFi has launched a new global brand platform called “Ambition has no passport” alongside a rebuilt app and its largest product expansion to date.
LemFi says more than 2 million people use its service to move money to more than 30 countries, with over $2 billion in monthly transaction volume. The company says it plans to add more countries next year.
The expanded platform now includes savings and credit in the UK, as well as eSIMs in more than 100 destinations. An eSIM is a digital SIM that lets users buy mobile data without swapping a physical SIM card.
LemFi said it rebuilt its app “from the ground up” to support several products across several countries under a single account, rather than adding features onto a transfers app. The redesign is meant to make its products easier to find and to support new services as the company expands.
Ridwan Olalere, co-founder and CEO, said: “We started LemFi because sending money home was broken. What we learned is that the harder problem starts after the transfer.” He added that customers often support people in one country while building careers or businesses in another, but “the financial system treats them as if they can only exist in one place at a time.”
In the UK, LemFi says its Instant Access Savings Account pays a boosted 5% AER for the first 6 months from account opening, then reverts to 3.04% AER (tracker) tracking the Bank of England base rate. Users can open an account from £1 and withdraw at any time with no penalty. LemFi says deposits are held by ClearBank and protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) up to £120,000 per eligible depositor.
For credit in the UK, LemFi says it offers a revolving credit line, subject to availability, issued by LemFi Credit through Pillar, the FCA regulated credit provider it acquired in 2025. The credit line is available as a virtual card via Apple Pay and Google Pay, and can be used for spending and sending. Eligible customers can also see their Equifax credit score in the app for free.
LemFi is positioning itself beyond cross border transfers into a wider set of financial services for people whose lives span multiple countries. It is also starting this expansion with savings and credit in the UK, with other markets to follow.
