Juicyway has re-enabled card deposits for individuals in the UK, US, EU, and Canada, adding Apple Pay and Google Pay and looser USD card rules.
Juicyway has restored card deposits for individuals in the UK, US, EU, and Canada. Users can now add money by card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. The company also simplified business verification and CAD auto deposit for businesses.
Juicyway said card deposits are back inside its app, after a period when the option was unavailable.
Individuals in the UK, US, the EU, and Canada can now fund USD, GBP, or EUR accounts using debit or credit cards, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. Apple Pay is a wallet payment method on Apple devices, and Google Pay is a wallet payment method linked to cards in Google Wallet.
Juicyway said supported card networks include Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, and Discover. It also changed a common friction point for multi-currency users. Your card no longer has to match the currency of the account you are topping up. For example, an eligible UK-issued card can be used for a USD deposit.
The update also includes changes for businesses. Business verification now happens in one guided flow, meaning companies can enter business details, verify shareholders, and upload documents step by step in one place. For Canadian dollar funding, Juicyway reduced the steps for CAD auto deposit. Businesses now set up an email once and no longer need to approve each sender email address.
Juicyway said the minimum deposit is £5, $5, or €5 depending on the account, while maximum limits are set by the card issuer.
For African startups and operators who rely on foreign currency accounts, smoother deposit options can reduce delays and failed top ups. Card deposits and wallet payments can be faster than bank transfers, especially for smaller amounts.
The new rule that allows any eligible card from a supported country to fund a USD balance is also a practical fix for cross-border users. It reduces the need to find a card that matches the account currency, which can be a blocker for founders, freelancers, and remote teams managing multi-currency cash flow.
On the business side, tighter verification and fewer steps for CAD deposits can shorten time to activation. That matters because onboarding is often the slowest part of setting up cross-border payments and FX conversions.
