GEC+ Africa 2026

GEC+ Africa 2026 (Global Entrepreneurship Congress Africa) is a pan-African entrepreneurship gathering taking place from 16–17 September 2026 in Cape Town, South Africa, with program activity also listed for an optional 18 September 2026 fringe day. It is positioned as Africa’s largest entrepreneurship platform, drawing over 2,000–3,000 delegates from across Africa and around the world, including startups, MSMEs, investors, corporates, policymakers, and ecosystem leaders. The congress focuses on advancing entrepreneurship, innovation, investment, and ecosystem building across the continent, building on the momentum and partnerships created at its 2024 edition.

Under a core theme of “Connecting Africa”, GEC+ Africa 2026 aims to connect ideas to capital, innovation to markets, and ambitious founders to opportunities, while strengthening collaboration among entrepreneurial ecosystems in at least 43 African countries.
