NoOnes is winding down operations. Its P2P marketplace closes Aug 21, 2026, then the platform becomes withdrawal-only. Users should withdraw by Aug 23.
NoOnes said it will begin winding down operations on Monday, August 17, 2026 at 6:00 AM UTC. The company said sanctions made it hard to keep running.
NoOnes said it tried to resolve and remove the sanctions, but could not. It also said it lost access to essential partners. Blockchain monitoring providers, which are firms that flag risky crypto activity for exchanges and banks, reportedly classified NoOnes-related wallets and transactions as high risk.
Because of this, NoOnes said transfers may be delayed, rejected, or restricted by some exchanges and services. It said these external restrictions also made it harder to process transactions normally.
The P2P marketplace, which is a peer-to-peer trading market where users buy and sell directly with each other, will close on August 21. After that date, users will be able to log in, view balances, withdraw funds, and contact support, but they will not be able to trade.
NoOnes said several services will close during the week of August 17. These include NoOnes Swap, NoOnes Visa, crypto off-ramps, the gift card store, Bitcoin Lightning Network, partner payouts, and new account registrations. It also said it will support only USDT on TRC-20, which is the USDT version on the TRON network.
This wind-down affects users across Africa who rely on P2P crypto trading and stablecoins like USDT for payments and value storage. When a platform is flagged as “high risk,” users can face friction when sending funds to other exchanges or wallets.
NoOnes said regular Bitcoin withdrawals on the Bitcoin network will continue to work normally. It also said USDT withdrawals via TRC-20 are currently operational.
The company urged users to withdraw their entire balance as soon as possible, and no later than Sunday, August 23, 2026. It also warned users to confirm that any receiving exchange can accept transfers from NoOnes, since blocks or delays may happen outside NoOnes’ control.
NoOnes said accounts currently on hold cannot withdraw right now, but will be moved from “on-hold” to “banned” to enable withdrawals. It said “banned” will stop trading, but will not block withdrawals.
