OfferZen Completes Candidate Profile Refresh with Release 4

OfferZen shipped Release 4 on April 24, 2026, completing its candidate profile refresh with richer education fields and new ideal next job preferences.

In Short

OfferZen shipped Release 4 of its candidate profile refresh on April 24, 2026, completing a staged rollout that surfaces richer candidate data to hiring teams.

What Happened: OfferZen’s Candidate Profile Updates

OfferZen has been rolling out a major refresh of candidate profiles in four releases during Q1 2026, according to its release notes.

The goal is to help candidates build more complete profiles faster, and to give companies more structured signals without changing the company interface all at once.

The rollout started with Release 1 on March 10. Candidates got a new profile experience, including a CV uploader that auto-fills profile fields by parsing a resume (software that extracts text like roles, skills, and education).

OfferZen also added new sections such as AI Fluency (Beta), plus expanded Projects and richer Education. It introduced a profile evaluator to help candidates review and improve their profiles.

From the company side, the initial UI stayed the same, but some newly mapped fields began appearing. AI Fluency (Beta) showed up as an extra signal for supported candidates.

Release 2 on March 27 exposed more profile data to companies. This included richer Projects details, including AI usage, and “reason for leaving” per role, plus years of experience per skill.

Release 3 on April 7 added expanded work experience fields, soft skills per role, and colour-coded skills so recruiters can quickly distinguish languages, frameworks, and tools.

Release 4 on April 24 completed the rollout. It surfaced richer Education entries and updated “ideal next job” fields, including work environment preferences.

Why It Matters

For candidates, the CV uploader shifts profile creation from starting with a blank form to checking and refining what the parser pulled in.

For companies, the staged rollout reduces workflow disruption while improving the quality of hiring signals. That matters as more teams try to evaluate AI experience, role fit, and career direction, not only coding keywords.
