## About the product

Ujuzi-Tu is a web-based marketplace and community platform for freelancers, buyers, sellers, and organisations that want to hire talent, sell services or products, and manage transactions with documented records.

Key capabilities include:
- **Talent and hiring marketplace**: member profiles, verified providers, job listings, and organisation pages that show open jobs.
- **Service packages and product sales**: fixed-scope service packages with listed price, delivery days and revisions, plus listings for **physical and digital products** with reviews.
- **Escrow and transaction records**: escrow-backed deposits and releases, **wallet** top-ups and withdrawals, plus verifiable **receipts** that show fees, charges, and tax treatment. A **fee calculator** helps estimate buyer totals, provider net, commissions, VAT, deductions, withdrawal costs, and currency conversion.
- **Trust and verification tools**: identity verification for members and organisations, plus document verification using **codes and QR** for receipts, statements, certificates, and membership cards.

Available on **Web**.

It targets a **B2B2C** mix of freelancers and local service providers, individual buyers and sellers, SMEs, NGOs, cooperatives, and other organisations.

Notable in the Tanzanian context, the site surfaces location-based participation through an **Opportunity Radar** (anonymous, approximate activity by area), supports **offline providers** for on-site work, and includes **Ujuzi AgriConnect** for produce listings with region-based discovery and dated market-price references. Pricing is **freemium**, with monthly plans listed as Free Starter ($0), Individual Professional ($1.52), Community Impact ($2.27), Corporate Business ($3.79), and Enterprise ($18.94), converted from a TZS catalog; marketplace listings are priced separately.
