## About the product

Pot of Food is a Nigeria-based food ordering platform for customers who want meals prepared by **trusted home kitchens** and ordered in **pot sizes** instead of single plates.

Key capabilities include:
- **Order by pot size (1L to 8L):** Choose a size for solo meals, families, or group settings, with pot sizes set per meal by each kitchen.
- **Made-to-taste customization:** Adjust **oil type**, **spice level**, portions, and select **modifiable ingredients** for dishes such as rice and soups.
- **Chef chat during preparation:** Message the chef while an order is being cooked, with in-app status updates and ETAs.
- **Vendor tools for home kitchens:** Manage menus and pricing, track orders live, set **kitchen hours**, monitor **earnings and payouts**, and post **Stories and Threads** to share updates.

Available on **Web** (info and onboarding) and on **Android** and **iOS** for ordering.

Built for **consumers ordering food** and **vendors/home kitchens** that need a mobile-first way to manage orders and customer communication.

It is notable in Nigeria for focusing on **bulk food ordering by the pot** with granular cooking preferences, and for supporting discovery through vendor Stories and Threads across cities listed on the site, including **Abuja, Lagos, Warri, and Ota**.
