Aubrey Niederhoffer is founder and CEO of Swoop, which is building what the profile calls Africa's super-app, since 2025. Niederhoffer previously founded Amalgam Talent (2022-2024), a business connecting remote workers in Southern Africa with global employers, and served as a strategy manager and advisor at Stringer Journalism in 2025. Based in Lagos, Nigeria.

## Story

Aubrey became interested in Africa through the online game GeoGuessr and co-founded Swoop in Eswatini in August 2025. BusinessDay says 6,000 first-month users led Aubrey to drop out and move to Nigeria. Swoop raised $7.3 million in seed funding and launched food delivery in Yaba, Lagos.
