André de Wet is founder of Flood (since 2020), a commerce infrastructure platform that connects large consumer ecosystems such as telcos and financial institutions to merchant networks across emerging markets. De Wet reports the platform has processed about $400M in GMV and over 14M annual transactions. De Wet also runs the market-expansion advisory 2ndBase (since 2018), was Head of Africa at iflix (2016–2017) and was CEO of the price-comparison marketplace PriceCheck until its 2015 exit. Based in Cape Town, South Africa.
