LEAP 2026 closed in Riyadh with [Waspito](/waspito) taking the top $250,000 LEAP Award. Waspito is a telemedicine company, meaning patients can consult clinicians remotely using a phone or computer. It also uses AI, which is software that can spot patterns in data, to support digital healthcare workflows.

The award was announced during the Rocket Fuel Finale, a pitch competition that gave out $1 million across seven equity-free prizes. Equity-free means founders do not give up company shares in exchange for the cash.
