## What Happened
Vezeeta has announced a new partnership with EVA Pharma to improve access to care for obesity and diabetes patients. The plan is built around an integrated digital care pathway, which is a guided online journey that helps a patient move from awareness to booking care and follow-ups.

Patients will be directed via a “smart link” from EVA Pharma’s “My Journey Beyond Weight” awareness page into [Vezeeta](/vezeeta). From there, they can find accredited doctors and nutritionists and book consultations.

The pathway is supported by telehealth, which means remote medical care delivered through phone or video instead of in-person visits. Vezeeta said its digital infrastructure is designed to make consultations and nutrition follow-up easier, especially for patients who would otherwise need to travel or go through slower clinic processes.

EVA Pharma also said it will sponsor the medical consultations for patients who use the new pathway. That removes a major cost barrier at the point of booking and could increase uptake for specialist care.
