## Content

## In Short
Bourse de Tunis data shows listed companies reported higher revenue in the first nine months of 2026, with mixed results across sectors.

## What Happened
Bourse de Tunis said 72 listed companies, or 96% of the market, had published their third quarter 2026 activity indicators by the time of its note. Three companies had not published: AETECH, TUNISAIR, and UADH.

Across the companies that published, total revenue for the first nine months of 2026 rose 4.2% to 19.2 billion dinars, up from 18.5 billion dinars in the same period of 2025. The exchange said 46 out of 72 companies, or 64%, improved their cumulative revenue.

The 20 companies in the Tunindex20 accounted for 12.7 billion dinars, or 66% of total revenue. Their combined revenue rose 3.9% versus the same period a year earlier.

Inside Tunindex20, Union Internationale de Banques ([Union Internationale de Banques (UIB)](/union-internationale-de-banques)) reported revenue of 419,246 for the first nine months of 2026, versus 388,445 a year earlier, a 7.9% increase.

By sector, the exchange said the banking sector’s cumulative net banking income, meaning core bank income after key banking costs, grew 5.8% for 12 listed banks to 5,747MD from 5,434MD. Leasing net revenue for seven listed leasing companies rose 4.2% to 455MD from 437MD. Seven listed insurers issued 1,518MD in premiums, up from 1,372MD, a 10.6% increase.

Overall, the financial sector grew 6.5% to 7,758MD from 7,282MD.

## Why It Matters
These figures show where Tunisia’s listed companies are growing, and where they are shrinking. Finance led the gains, while the exchange flagged declines in materials, health, and oil and gas, pointing to uneven performance across the market.
