## Content

## In Short
Turuq Innovations has secured seed funding from Den VC. The startup says it will use the capital to strengthen operations and expand logistics services for e-commerce businesses across Egypt.

## What Happened: Den VC Backs Turuq Innovations In Egypt
Turuq Innovations is an Egyptian logistics technology startup founded by Ahmed Atta and Karim Kamal. The company provides technology-driven logistics services for online retailers that do not want to build their own distribution infrastructure.

Den VC made a seed investment in Turuq Innovations. The financial details were not disclosed.

Turuq Innovations said the funding will support plans to improve its technology infrastructure, increase fulfilment capacity, and expand its presence across the logistics and e-commerce sectors.

The company operates a third-party logistics platform, meaning it handles logistics on behalf of merchants. Its services include warehousing, inventory management, order processing, packaging, nationwide shipping, and last-mile delivery, which is the final handoff to the customer.

Its technology includes real-time shipment tracking, automated dispatching, and optimised delivery routes.

The investment follows the startup’s participation in InvestIT, an investment-readiness programme supported by Egypt’s Information Technology Industry Development Agency and the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center. The programme is powered by Flat6Labs and offers training in fundraising, business development, financial preparation, and investor engagement.

According to co-founder Ahmed Atta, the new capital will help Turuq strengthen internal operations, develop its workforce, and build more dependable logistics infrastructure for Egyptian e-commerce businesses.

Turuq said its priorities include expanding operational teams, introducing technology-supported micro-fulfilment solutions, and improving its logistics network to handle increasing order volumes. It also plans to explore additional product categories and geographical markets.

## Why It Matters
For Egyptian e-commerce businesses, fulfilment capacity and last-mile delivery can affect customer experience and costs. Turuq Innovations is pitching itself as a logistics partner that bundles storage, packing, shipping, and tracking into one service, backed by software.

The deal also highlights how investment-readiness programmes like InvestIT can position early-stage startups for external funding.
