## Content

## In Short
Travelbeta is sponsoring the University of Nigeria, Nsukka’s 2026 Staff Games football tournament. The tournament is scheduled for November 3 to 26, 2026.

## What Happened
According to a University of Nigeria, Nsukka update titled “2026 UNN Staff Games Football Kicks Off”, the 2026 Staff Games football tournament is scheduled to run from November 3 to 26, 2026.

The additional context provided with the update says [Travelbeta](/travelbeta) is the sponsor for the tournament.

## Why It Matters
This is another example of a travel brand putting money behind a campus community event. For staff and organisers, sponsorship can help cover costs and improve execution.

For Travelbeta, the partnership links its name to a large institution and a multi-week football programme, which can help with visibility among staff, families, and the wider university community.
