Standard Chartered PLC says it repurchased its own ordinary shares as part of a previously announced share buyback programme.

## What Happened
Standard Chartered PLC said it purchased ordinary shares of US$0.50 each from Goldman Sachs International under a share buyback programme previously detailed in an announcement dated 29 July 2026.

Standard Chartered also said that, as at close of business London time on 23 October 2026, it had applied an aggregate of US$669,911,807.31 to share purchases under the buyback programme.

The company said share purchases under the buyback would be carried out under “pre-set parameters and limits” and in line with applicable law and regulation, as described in more detail in its 29 July 2026 announcement.
