## Content

## In Short
- Sproutly has created an international advisory board.
- Chris Low will chair the board, with Djiba Diallo and Matteo Rizzi as members.
- The company says the board will support its next phase of growth in education finance.

## What Happened
[Sproutly](/sproutly) announced an international advisory board as it expands its financial infrastructure for education across Africa. The company builds tools that help schools collect fees and manage finances, and helps families save or split tuition payments into smaller instalments.

The new advisory board is chaired by Chris Low, a banking and financial services executive with experience across the UK, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. Sproutly said Low was also its first investor. The company highlighted his work leading bank integration and digital transformation projects, including scaling customer adoption in African financial services.

Djiba Diallo joins as a board member. She currently leads digital partnerships at Mastercard across Morocco and Francophone West Africa. Sproutly pointed to her experience across Microsoft and Ecobank, including building startup and fintech partnership pipelines.

Matteo Rizzi also joins the advisory board. Sproutly said his background spans fintech, investment, and building financial inclusion programmes, and will help the company as it grows across more markets.

## Why It Matters
Advisory boards are non-executive groups that help founders make better strategic decisions, without running day-to-day operations. For fintechs that handle regulated money flows, this kind of support can matter early, especially when expanding into new countries.

Sproutly sits at the intersection of fintech and education payments, where trust, governance, and partnerships with banks, card networks, and schools are key. The company is signalling it wants deeper institutional experience as it scales products like school fee collections, tuition savings, and instalment payment options.

If Sproutly’s advisory board helps it tighten compliance, deepen partnerships, and improve product focus, it could make education finance more predictable for schools and less stressful for families.
