Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS) has announced the official go-live of Rev360. The new tax administration platform will be rolled out in phases, starting with medium and emerging taxpayers.

## What Happened
Rev360 is now live, according to NRS. A tax administration platform is the software that helps a revenue agency register taxpayers, process filings, and manage payments and audits.

NRS said implementation will happen in stages. The first phase targets medium and emerging taxpayers, before the system is extended to other segments.

A phased rollout usually means the agency is trying to reduce downtime and bugs by onboarding groups one at a time. It can also make it easier to train staff and taxpayers, then fix issues before scaling.
