## Content

## In Short
Redwill ICT and SYNAQ are strengthening their partnership to bring business e-mail, mail management, and e-mail security to more South African companies.

The companies say the renewed collaboration combines Redwill ICT’s connectivity and customer support services with SYNAQ’s cloud e-mail and mail security products.

## What Happened: How Redwill ICT And SYNAQ Plan To Package Email
Redwill ICT and SYNAQ said they want customers to pay more attention to e-mail availability, manageability, and security. The companies point to business disruption that can happen when e-mail is unavailable, hard to manage, or exposed to malicious messages.

The partnership builds on an existing relationship. Redwill ICT said it has expanded its reach through broader ICT services and Opentel, its ISP division. The companies say this creates a chance to speak with customers that already use Redwill ICT for connectivity or hosting, and then recommend e-mail services that fit.

Redwill ICT CEO Nicholas Reddy said e-mail is often treated as something that must “work in the background,” but business growth and suspicious messages can expose gaps in e-mail security.

A key part of the work is a set of CloudMail Lite mailbox bundles aimed at smaller teams. The proposed bundle ranges cover one to five, six to 10, and 11 to 20 mailboxes. SYNAQ’s published CloudMail range also includes larger mailbox options with additional collaboration and management features.

The partners said the bundle details are still being finalised. They said pricing, availability, and any promotional offers will be shared once confirmed.

## Why It Matters: Bundles And Security For Small Businesses
The companies say they are starting with practical options for small and medium businesses. That focus can matter because e-mail needs often change as a company adds staff and handles more sensitive information.

Security is a second part of the pitch. SYNAQ’s SecureMail service provides protection against spam, viruses, and identity-based threats, which are attacks that try to trick a user by pretending to be someone else. SYNAQ also has Mail Management offerings that combine services such as e-mail security, archiving, and continuity, which is a way to keep e-mail working during disruptions.

Redwill ICT and SYNAQ said they plan to take a consultative approach. They aim to understand how each customer uses e-mail, identify gaps that matter to that customer, and then recommend an appropriate solution.
