## Content

## In Short
Prudential Bank Ghana picked up two honours at the 2nd MoneyAura Awards. The bank won Excellence in Digital Customer Experience. Acting Managing Director Ebow Quayson also won Best Retail Banker of the Year.

## What Happened
[Prudential Bank Ghana](/prudential-bank-ghana) said it received the Excellence in Digital Customer Experience award for its continued investment in digital banking.

Digital customer experience is how easy and reliable it is for customers to use online and mobile services, like app transfers, card controls, and support channels.

The bank’s Acting Managing Director, Ebow Quayson, was also named Best Retail Banker of the Year. Prudential Bank said the award reflects his leadership on retail banking strategy, customer relationships, and digital adoption across different customer segments.

Quayson described the recognition as a team result and credited staff performance and customer trust. He also thanked customers, partners, and stakeholders, and said the awards will push the bank to keep raising service standards.

The MoneyAura Awards are organised by Dubai-based Haleef in collaboration with Scribe Minds & Media. The organisers position the awards as a recognition of financial services, fintech, and telecom leaders driving digital finance, economic progress, and sustainability in West Africa.

## Why It Matters
Ghana’s banking market is crowded, and many products look similar on paper. Awards like this are one way banks signal progress on everyday basics, like app usability, onboarding speed, and support quality.

For customers, better digital experience can mean fewer branch visits and faster issue resolution. For the bank, it can translate into higher retention and more low-cost deposits, as more people use self-service channels.

It also shows how traditional banks are still competing with fintechs on the same battleground, digital adoption and customer experience.
