## What Happened
Egyptian payroll and payments provider [PayMint](/paymint) says it has signed a new partnership with [Vezeeta](/vezeeta) to provide integrated medical solutions through Shamel for payroll card users.

Shamel is described as a medical discount digital card. In simple terms, it is like a membership that gives employees lower prices at participating healthcare providers. PayMint said Shamel can deliver savings of up to 80% on medical services across more than 10,000 providers.

The companies said employees covered through employers on the PayMint network will be able to access Vezeeta’s healthcare ecosystem. That includes outpatient clinic consultations, hospital services, and pharmacy purchases through an extended pharmacy network.

PayMint framed the move as part of a wider strategy to add employee benefits beyond payroll disbursement. The company also said customer satisfaction for its payment, transfer, and payroll services is above 98%.
