## Content

## In Short
Paratus Namibia is expanding its northern Namibia operation. The company is adding more customer touchpoints and growing its reseller network. It is also using the Ongwediva Annual Trade Fair to meet customers and explain its connectivity options.

## What Happened
Paratus Namibia said it is showcasing its growing northern Namibia operation at the Ongwediva Annual Trade Fair, running from 21 to 29 August 2026.

The company is exhibiting at Stand 153, open daily from 09:00 to 21:00. Visitors can ask about home and business connectivity, including mobile services, wireless internet, and fibre internet.

Paratus Namibia also confirmed it will soon open a new shop at Yetu Mall in Oshakati. The shop is expected to help customers in Oshakati and nearby areas compare coverage, sign up for services, and get SIMs and devices, including eSIMs, which are digital SIM cards that can be activated without a physical chip.

The operator described Oshakati, Ongwediva, and Ondangwa as a key commercial corridor in northern Namibia. It said it is expanding across the region through its own customer locations and an expanding reseller network, which means third-party outlets that sell and support its services.

According to managing director Andrew Hall, the trade fair is part of the company’s push to engage directly with customers, understand demand, and demonstrate available connectivity solutions.

## Why It Matters
Northern Namibia has towns where reliable internet access can still be uneven across suburbs and business districts. More shops and reseller outlets can shorten the time it takes to get connected, replace a SIM, or troubleshoot service issues.

For small businesses, better access to fibre and fixed wireless can support card payments, inventory systems, and cloud tools. For households, clearer guidance on coverage and packages can reduce the guesswork when choosing between mobile data, wireless broadband, and fibre.

The move also signals a continued retail and distribution play by [Paratus](/paratus) in Namibia, with physical presence and channel partners used to grow subscriptions outside the capital.
