## Content

## In Short

The programme includes a commitment of KSh 600 million for the 2026 cohort.

## What Happened: KCB Foundation Scholarships For Kenya Senior Schools
KCB Foundation said the 1,000 scholarship recipients will join Kenya Senior Schools across the country.

The foundation said it has committed KSh 600 million for the 2026 cohort, and that the funding will support students through secondary and university studies.

The announcement says the support will cover school fees, stipends, uniforms, talent development, and other basic requirements.

## Why It Matters
Scholarships like this can reduce the cost barrier that keeps academically strong students from staying in school.

The package also goes beyond tuition. By including stipends, uniforms, and talent development, KCB Foundation is funding both learning and day to day needs that can affect whether students complete school.

The commitment is also multi year in scope, with KCB Foundation saying the 2026 cohort will be supported through to university.
