## Content

## In Short
Hubtel and Nova Business School Africa met in Ghana to discuss digital entrepreneurship, practical business education, and possible collaboration.

## What Happened
Ghanaian fintech [Hubtel](/hubtel) hosted a courtesy visit with representatives from Nova Business School Africa (NBSA) on September 10, 2026. Hubtel later shared an update on September 14.

The talks focused on how technology can support business growth, and how business education can better reflect what entrepreneurs face day to day. Both teams discussed using practical case studies, instead of only theory, to teach entrepreneurship and digital transformation, meaning using software and data to run a business better.

A central topic was The Africa Digital Entrepreneurship Programme, or TADEP. NBSA said the programme is delivered with the Alibaba Global Initiative in China. It aims to help entrepreneurs learn how to use tools like e-commerce, digital payments, and logistics services to scale.

Hubtel shared its experience building payment products for businesses, banks, and retailers. The discussion also covered how digital tools can increase transparency, make transactions easier, and help small and medium-sized businesses reach more customers.

Beyond TADEP, the two sides discussed possible collaboration areas. These included staff capability building, executive development, learning programmes, and access to broader business networks. Hubtel also mentioned plans for a future webinar on digital assets and artificial intelligence, meaning software that can generate or analyse content and patterns.

## Why It Matters
More African founders are looking for training that connects directly to real operations, including payments, fulfilment, and customer management. Partnerships between tech companies and business schools can help turn local business experience into course material that is easier to apply.

If Hubtel and NBSA formalise a programme, it could create a pipeline for executive training and founder education in Ghana, with links to global ecosystems. For Hubtel, it also strengthens its positioning as a business infrastructure partner, not just a payments provider.
