## Content

## In Short
- EasyEquities has added Fighters Club as a new beneficiary in its Donate for Good giving programme for Women’s Month.
- Donations will fund Fighters Club’s Fight & Feed initiative, which supports education, mentorship, financial literacy, and community development.
- The partnership also includes a R50 starter credit for fighters who do not yet have an EasyEquities account.

## What Happened
EasyEquities has named Fighters Club as the newest beneficiary of its Donate for Good initiative.

Fighters Club is a South African boxing promotions company best known for building women’s boxing events. The organisation says it has staged Africa’s only female world title fights and paid some of the highest purses in the country within its first year.

Donate for Good is a feature inside the [EasyEquities](/easyequities) platform that lets investors direct donations to selected causes. In this campaign, every rand donated goes to Fighters Club to support its Fight & Feed programme.

Alongside donations, EasyEquities said it will give R50 to each fighter who does not yet have an EasyEquities account. The idea is to help athletes take a first step into investing, which means putting money into assets like shares or funds with the goal of long-term growth.

Fighters Club COO Chich Nyama said the partnership is meant to link empowerment in sport with practical access to financial education and confidence.

## Why It Matters
This partnership is another example of how fintech platforms are tying customer engagement to social impact. For EasyEquities, it is a way to connect investing with causes that resonate with its user base.

For Fighters Club, the benefit goes beyond event sponsorship. It channels funding into ongoing programmes like mentorship and financial literacy, which can outlast a single fight night.

The R50 account kick-starter is small, but it is designed to remove friction for first-time investors. For many young athletes, that first deposit can be the difference between intention and action.
