The company’s pitch focuses on the daily problems many churches face, including cash counted after services, transfers coming in without clear references, and finance teams spending days reconciling bank statements with spreadsheets.

Duplo says churches can collect money across multiple channels and track it in one place. This includes using virtual accounts, which are unique bank account numbers that help identify who paid, similar to giving each donor or branch its own labelled bucket.

It also highlights branch consolidation, meaning bringing collections and reports from multiple branches into one central view. The goal is to make it easier for a head office finance team to see what happened across locations without waiting days for separate reports.

On the spending side, Duplo positions approvals as a workflow with an audit trail. An audit trail is a recorded history of who requested, approved, and paid, like a tamper-resistant paper file, but digital.

The post also mentions vendor payments and bulk disbursements, which are batch payments to suppliers, staff, or welfare recipients. Duplo says it supports reconciliation and reporting to improve financial accountability.
