## In Short
MultiChoice Nigeria is changing how its DStv and GOtv bouquets are structured.

The company says the new package structure will take effect on November 5.

## What Happened: How MultiChoice Nigeria Reshaped DStv And GOtv
MultiChoice Nigeria, a CANAL+ Company, says it has started a major overhaul of its [DStv](/dstv) and [GOtv](/gotv-africa) bouquets.

MultiChoice says the update supports CANAL+’s Global Offer Strategy, which it describes as a plan to build a more customer-centric and simplified portfolio across Africa.

For DStv, MultiChoice says the new line-up will have four packages, Starter, Select, Sports and Premium. For GOtv, the company says customers will have four options, Easy, Starter, Select and Sports.

MultiChoice Nigeria CEO Kemi Omotosho said the new packages are meant to match current viewing habits. “Our focus is on giving subscribers better value and access to the entertainment they love,” she said. Omotosho added that the platform combines “African entertainment, leading international content and unrivalled live sports in one place,” and that the packages now include tailored options for “general entertainment and sports fans.”

MultiChoice says DStv Starter will cost N6,000 and will include two new channels, SuperSport Kickoff and Africa Magic+. The company says SuperSport Kickoff will broadcast the Premier League Match of the Week and selected UEFA Champions League matches.

Select will cost N11,000, and MultiChoice says it is aimed at families. The company says it includes movie channels, local and international series, a selection of football and other sports, and kids channels.

MultiChoice also says it is introducing a dedicated sports package for football fans for the first time, priced at N21,000. The company says this package will show every Premier League and UEFA Champions League match, alongside WWE and UFC, plus general entertainment channels available on Select.

Premium remains the flagship package, according to the company. MultiChoice says it adds premium sports like Formula 1, MotoGP, Grand Slam tennis and Golf majors, plus top international series on M-Net.

MultiChoice also says its movie offering has been refreshed with new channels, M-Net Movies+, M-Net Stars and M-Net Legends. The company says the changes will mean more blockbusters, faster access to new releases and fewer repeats.

## Why It Matters
The new tiers split general entertainment and sport more clearly, including a dedicated football-focused package.

For MultiChoice, the overhaul is positioned as part of a broader CANAL+ strategy to simplify product options across Africa.
