## What Happened
Crédit Agricole Egypt said its Board of Directors approved results for the period ended September 30, 2026.

In its 9M26 performance update, the bank said the gross loan portfolio grew by 20% year over year to reach EGP 73.4 billion. It said customer deposits increased by 21% year over year to reach EGP 129.9 billion. Crédit Agricole Egypt reported a loan to deposit ratio of 56.6% as of 9M26.

The bank broke out performance by business line. Corporate Banking reported growth in loans of EGP 10.9 billion, up 25% year over year, and said deposits grew by EGP 12.8 billion, up 19% year over year. Retail banking reported growth in loans of EGP 1.4 billion, up 8% year over year, and said deposits grew by EGP 10.1 billion, up 26% year over year.

Separately, a campaign FAQ detailed a cashback offer linked to “fresh funds,” defined as net increases in local currency assets under management (LCY AUM). The offer is described as exclusive to New to Bank customers who increase fresh funds by a minimum of EGP 20,000 and book it into an EGP Certificate of Deposit. The bank said the draw mechanism is cumulative, with each additional EGP 20,000 of fresh funds booked into a CD granting one extra chance.

## Why It Matters
For users and operators tracking Egypt’s banking market, Crédit Agricole Egypt’s update provides a clear snapshot of balance sheet growth across loans and deposits, plus profitability movement through net banking income and net profit.

The cashback campaign details also show how banks are using deposit products such as Certificates of Deposit and measurement methods like LCY AUM to encourage new customer funding inflows.
