## Content

## In Short
Coachli has launched a Telegram integration to automate access to paid Telegram groups.

## What Happened
On October 16, 2026, [Coachli](/coachli) announced a Telegram integration aimed at creators and operators who run paid communities, coaching cohorts, and membership programs on Telegram.

The core feature is automated access control. After a customer pays for, or books, an offering, Coachli can email them a unique, one-time Telegram invite link. The customer clicks the link to join the selected group, and the community admin does not need to manually collect usernames or approve access.

Creators can connect a Telegram account from the Coachli dashboard, then add the Coachli bot to any Telegram group and make it an administrator. That admin permission matters because it lets the bot invite members and remove them when access expires.

The integration also supports messaging automation. Coachli can send welcome messages when someone joins after a purchase or booking. It can also send reminders 30 minutes before a scheduled 1:1 session, a session bundle meeting, or a live event. For live events, the reminder is sent to the Telegram group.

For subscriptions, creators can assign different Telegram groups to different tiers. This helps separate basic and premium communities while still managing access rules from one place.

## Why It Matters
Paid Telegram communities are common across African creator and coaching markets because Telegram is lightweight and widely used. The harder part is operations, which includes verifying payment, adding and removing members, and keeping people informed.

By automating group invites, reminders, and subscription removals, Coachli is positioning itself as a backend tool for running paid communities, not just selling sessions and digital products.

Telegram remains optional, sellers can still use Coachli without connecting it. If a creator disconnects Telegram, existing members stay in their groups, but those groups cannot be selected for new offerings until Telegram is reconnected.
