## In Short
- Cash-in has added a feature that lets users pin a preferred crypto deposit address.
- The pinned address shows on the homepage in the Sell Crypto section.
- The goal is faster access for users who manage multiple addresses.

## What Happened
On October 11, 2026, [Cash-in](/cash-in) announced a new “pin default address” option for its crypto to Naira flow. Users can now select a preferred crypto address and keep it visible on the app homepage.

The feature is designed for people who hold multiple deposit addresses for different cryptocurrencies, or for different networks. A network is the rail a crypto transfer runs on, like ERC-20 or TRC-20, and picking the wrong one can cause failed transfers or lost funds.

To use it, a user opens the Sell Crypto section, chooses the cryptocurrency they want to sell for Naira, then views more addresses and pins the one they want. After that, the selected address appears directly on the homepage when they return to Sell Crypto.

Cash-in also repeated a common crypto safety warning. Users should always match the correct address to the selected cryptocurrency and network before sending funds.

## Why It Matters
Small UX updates like this can reduce mistakes in crypto off-ramp apps, especially where users often switch between coins, wallets, and networks. Fewer taps can also lower friction for repeat transactions, which matters for products that rely on frequent sell, deposit, and cash-out activity.

For teams building crypto products, this is also a reminder that “address management” is still a core workflow. Many users treat deposit addresses like saved beneficiaries in banking, and they expect quick access, clear labeling, and safeguards against sending to the wrong network.
