[Banque Zitouna](/banque-zitouna) has signed a partnership agreement with the Order of Pharmacists. The deal targets pharmacists registered with the Order.

The agreement bundles banking, financing, and bancassurance, which is insurance sold through a bank, with preferential terms designed for pharmacists.

## What Happened: How The Banque Zitouna Offer Works
Banque Zitouna says the partnership will give registered pharmacists a banking offer and preferential conditions tailored to the specific needs of their profession, both for personal and professional use.

The offer includes financing, banking services, and bancassurance products that Banque Zitouna says follow Islamic finance principles. Islamic finance refers to financial products structured to comply with specific religious rules.

For pharmacy stock and supplies, Banque Zitouna is offering “Tamouil Chiraet”, based on Mourabaha. Mourabaha is a cost-plus structure where the bank buys an item and resells it to the customer at an agreed markup.

For investment projects, professional equipment, and renewing a vehicle fleet, Banque Zitouna is also offering financing based on Ijara. Ijara is a lease-based structure where the customer pays for use of an asset.

The bank adds that pharmacists will get preferential pricing on financing. They will also have access to a packaged banking offer combining multiple products and services.
