## Content

## In Short
- AXG said fiscal 2026 revenue rose to $28.05 million, up about 895% year over year.
- Stablecoin and fiat trading volume reached $1.04 billion, up 395%.
- The company is prioritising institutional payments and treasury services, and no new funding round was announced.

## What Happened
AXG, via [AXG](/axg), reported $28.05 million in revenue for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2026. That compares with $2.82 million the year before.

The company said stablecoin and fiat trading volume grew 395% to $1.04 billion. Fiat means government-issued currency like USD or EUR. Stablecoins are cryptocurrencies designed to track a currency, usually the US dollar.

AXG also reported several operating metrics. Client assets under administration rose 347% to $848.8 million. AX ONE processed $226 million in payment volume. FERION completed 10 tokenisation projects worth $52 million, tokenisation means turning an asset into a digital token that can be tracked and transferred on a blockchain.

The revenue mix leaned heavily toward AI infrastructure, which contributed about $22.2 million, or 79% of group revenue. Digital Asset Tokens contributed about $5.6 million. Despite the growth, AXG recorded a net loss of $13.29 million.

AXG positioned its results against rising global stablecoin adoption. The company cited data showing stablecoin market cap grew 48.9% during calendar 2025 to $311 billion. It also pointed to increasing business-to-business stablecoin payments, which are corporate payments between companies.

## Why It Matters
For African operators watching cross-border payments, AXG’s focus is a familiar direction. Institutional payments and treasury services are the back office pipes for large businesses, including supplier payments, payroll, and cash management across currencies.

AXG said its priorities include commercialising its stablecoins after a Bahrain issuer licence, integrating banking and payment partners, and building payment corridors across GCC–Asia and GCC–Africa routes. Corridors are repeatable routes for moving money between regions, usually with defined partners, settlement steps, and compliance checks.

The key watch item is execution, including live integrations, recurring institutional customers, and sustained payment volume. The net loss also signals that growth is still being bought with higher costs, which may matter in a market that is increasingly focused on profitable fintech operations.
