## What Happened
[Audiomack](/audiomack) announced a partnership with Felabration 2026, the annual Lagos festival celebrating Fela Anikulapo-Kuti and Afrobeat.

The festival runs from October 13 to 19. During that window, Audiomack+ subscribers, including people who sign up for the first time during the week, can claim a limited number of VIP seats and Audiomack x Felabration merchandise. The offer is first come, first served.

Audiomack said subscribers attending the event can visit its stand at the festival venue. A representative will help confirm membership and provide access to the VIP area.

Alongside the on-ground perks, Audiomack released a Felabration 2026 playlist. The playlist is meant to connect Fela’s original catalog to newer artists influenced by Afrobeat.

Charlotte Bwana, Audiomack’s vice president of marketing, said the playlist is intended as a way to trace today’s popular African sounds back to their roots. She also said the Felabration partnership is part of a broader plan to build more member experiences for Audiomack+ users.
