## What Happened
[Absa](/absa) Group said Nadine Drutman will be stepping down as Group Company Secretary of Absa Group and Absa Bank, effective 31 January 2027.

The announcement was made under JSE Limited listings requirements, which require listed issuers to inform shareholders and noteholders about certain board and governance changes.

Absa said Drutman has been with the Group for 20 years and has served as Company Secretary for the last 14 years. The board thanked her for her contribution and wished her well.

Absa said her successor will be announced in due course, following the requisite regulatory approvals.
