## About the product

NEPAWatch Nigeria is a **real-time, crowd-sourced power outage tracker** for people in Nigeria who want to know whether there is electricity on their street and when it changes.

Key capabilities include:
- **Live street-level outage reports** (“Light Don Go” and “Light Don Come”) across **all 36 states plus the FCT**, covering **all 11 DISCOs**, with reports updated as users submit and confirm changes.
- **Instant email alerts** for saved locations, so registered users receive an email within seconds when power status changes near places like **Home, Work, School, or Other** (with optional custom labels).
- **AI power predictions** that estimate when an area may lose power, using **NERC band data** and historical crowd reports.
- **Area history and reliability** views, including **7-day power supply history** and street-level reliability stats and rankings based on live reports.

Available on **Web** via nepawatch.app. A **public API** is linked at https://nepawatch.app/api.html.

It primarily serves **Nigerian residents**, including households, workers, students, and commuters who need quick visibility into local electricity availability and reliability.

Notable in the Nigerian market context, the platform focuses on **street-level, community-verified electricity status** nationwide and is positioned as **Free Always**, making outage visibility and basic reliability tracking accessible without paid tiers.
