## About the product

MyKaab is a **ride-hailing app** for riders, drivers and companies in **Abuja and Lagos**, built by **Triax Technology** and run with **AUATON** (the Amalgamated Union of App-Based Transporters of Nigeria). AUATON decides union membership and MyKaab runs the technology.

For riders:
- **Itemised fares before booking**, with the same lines on the receipt. The national rate card is:
  - **Economy**: ₦2,500 base, ₦150 per km, ₦50 per minute
  - **Comfort**: ₦3,500 base, ₦210 per km, ₦70 per minute
  - **Executive**: ₦5,000 base, ₦300 per km, ₦100 per minute
- **Waiting**: 3 free minutes at pickup, then ₦100 per minute. The base fare is also the minimum fare.
- **Levies**: ₦380 per trip, passed on in full: ₦350 **trip insurance** and ₦30 to the state road development fund. An 11 km, 26-minute Economy trip comes to ₦5,830.
- **Choose your driver**: see nearby drivers' distance, photo, rating and plate before accepting.
- **Safety**: an **SOS** button linked to a 24/7 safety desk, live trip sharing, two-way **audio recording** kept for 30 days, pre-trip checks and number masking.
- **Payment**: an in-app **wallet** topped up by bank transfer to your own account number, or **cash**.

For drivers, MyKaab takes **0% commission**. Drivers pay **₦5,000 a day** only on days they drive, plus ₦50 tax withheld per fare, and can opt into health (₦100), life (₦50) and pension (₦150) cover. They also get electric vehicle hire purchase, fuel and spare-parts advances, fleet accounts, and deactivation only after a hearing.

For companies, **corporate accounts** offer Executive-class cars, central billing and one statement. Available on **Web** and **Android** (separate Rider and Driver apps), with iPhone access by invitation. The head office is in Abuja.
