MauBank Limited is a banking website for retail customers and businesses in Mauritius, with dedicated sections for **Retail**, **Corporate**, **SME**, **International**, and **Private** banking.

MauBank traces back to **2003**, when the government merged the **New Co-operative Bank** and the **Post Office Savings Bank** to form **Mauritius Post and Cooperative Bank (MPCB)**. In **2016**, MPCB acquired the assets and liabilities of the **National Commercial Bank** and rebranded as **MauBank Ltd**. The bank is **100% state-owned**: **MauBank Holdings Ltd** holds nearly all of MauBank's shares and is itself wholly owned by the **Government of Mauritius**.

MauBank is Mauritius's **third-largest bank**, with around **850 employees** and **19 branches**, including one on **Rodrigues** island, plus extended access through **102 Mauritius Post** outlets. It has also been recognized by **J.P. Morgan Payments** for payment quality.
