It restructured into a holding company, **HF Group Plc**, in 2015, then rebranded as **HFCB** in 2026, consolidating its banking (**HFCB Limited**), property (**HFCB Properties**), and insurance (**HFCB Bancassurance Intermediary**) subsidiaries under one brand.

After a **KSh 1.7 billion** loss and a fall in bank tier in 2020, HFCB recovered through a **2024 rights issue** that raised **KSh 6.4 billion**, nearly doubling equity to **KSh 16.8 billion** and restoring its **Tier 2 bank status** with the Central Bank of Kenya. It has also diversified from pure mortgage lending into custody, bancassurance, and SME banking, and was added to the **MSCI Frontier Markets Small Cap Index** in February 2025.
