## What worked

Launched a tiered subscription model (a free trial for up to 100 patients plus Gold/Silver/Bronze/Brass paid packages) in July 2014, raised roughly $25,000 in seed funding, and the reminder technology functioned as designed.

## Early warning signs

Founders found that hospitals lacked basic technology infrastructure (computers, internet access) and that HMOs required standardization and risk-sharing before adopting new digital tools, signaling the market was not ready to pay.
