Climate Edge built a farmer-CRM/communications platform that delivered agricultural information (soil data, fertilizer recommendations, planting calendars, market pricing) via bulk SMS and interactive voice response to smallholder farmers with limited internet access in Kenya and Tanzania, and supplied risk-assessment data to lenders.

No shutdown announcement, funding news, or press coverage of a closure has been found; the company's website and social channels simply stopped being updated around 2023, and the climate-edge.com domain now redirects to an unrelated site, consistent with the company having quietly ceased operations.
