## About the product

AYAT by AppCyclers is a web-based marketplace for electronic-waste management in Ghana, built for e-waste generators, local recyclers, off-takers, and artisans.

Key capabilities include:
- **E-waste pickup scheduling** with a flow to submit **photos and item details** for collection
- **Real-time GPS tracking** for pickups, plus **status updates** on the journey of collected items
- A **marketplace for recyclable electronic materials** and **used, refurbished, or upcycled electrical and electronic equipment** (via the online store)
- **Ratings and reviews** so generators can evaluate the pickup experience

Available on **Web**.

It targets a **B2B2C** ecosystem that includes households and businesses discarding electronics, local and informal recyclers sourcing materials, industrial off-takers purchasing recovered materials, and artisans trading or repurposing devices.

Notable in the Ghanaian market context, the product focuses on digitising e-waste collection and connecting generators to recycling and off-take opportunities, with AppCyclers (founded in 2019 and headquartered in Tamale) positioning it as infrastructure for organising e-waste flows and transactions.
